This is a free event sponsored by the Peachtree Corners Photography Club, open to anyone from beginners to pros. Come with your camera and learn to improve your videography in a hands-on workshop. Registration is required. See the form at the end of the announcement. We hope you will join us!

Instructors will be available until 4:00 for additional Q&A and one-on-one assistance. Sandwiches, chips and soft drinks will be provided for lunch.
Each attendee will produce and process their own "souvenir” video to share with family and friends. This workshop will cover the basics of videography but will also explore intermediate topics such as post-processing, time-lapse, and backgrounds, including both music and sound effects.
You will shoot your own video footage and edit it during the workshop. You will need to bring a laptop and a way to download your video from your camera. There will be a couple of spare laptops available for use. More details about the day and what to bring will be emailed to everyone who registers for the workshop.

About Tom Simpson:
Tom Simpson is a retired biologist, college professor, and environmental consultant. He is a Past President of the Georgia Nature Photographers Association, and his photos have been widely displayed and published. Tom’s video skills include time-lapse and slow motion, as well as use of sliders, motorized heads, and other tools to expand creative opportunities with video. A collection of Tom’s work is on permanent display at a local restaurant gallery.
About Travis Rhoads:
Travis Rhoads is an international award-winning fine art photographer working in a wide range of photographic genres. He studied Architecture at The Savannah College of Art & Design, where he received a Masters degree. Travis has become legendary for the intimate, immersive quality of his videos. He is in high demand as a speaker and mentor in both photography and videography.
