Come with us on a waterfall and leaf change trip to Rabun County, GA. Our guide will be Bob Chadwick.
Bob is a long-time Peachtree Corners resident. He is an avid hobbyist, having shot a lot of sports in the past 15 years, but has gradually moved to wildlife and landscape. He has photographed extensively in Georgia, Utah, Colorado, and California and has been on wildlife safaris to Alaska and South Africa.

Date: Saturday, October 26, 2024
Time: 8:00 am – 6:00 pm (plus lunch around 12 pm)
Meeting Address: 5220 Town Center Blvd, Peachtree Corners, GA 30092, Town Center Parking lot on or near the top deck

We will meet at the Town Center Parking lot on or near the top deck at 8 am.
Locations start roughly 1 hour and 30 minutes north of Peachtree Corners in Rabun County.
Listed below are possible waterfalls depending on time and interest. Others possibilities may be added in and around Clayton and Rabun County. Attendee suggestions are welcome and can be sent to bob.chadwick@norcrosspics.com.

There is no charge for this Field Trip.
This field trip is open to dues-paying members.
All waterfalls will be close to parking, though there may be some short hikes (under 1/4 mile) with some elevation changes.
Carpooling is recommended. Some attendees may decide to start the return trip earlier than 6 pm.
Group lunch around 12 pm in Clayton, GA.
Recommended equipment is a camera, a tripod, a wide angle lens, a telephoto lens, a macro lens, a circular polarizer (CPL), and neutral-density (ND) and graduated neutral- density (GND) filters.
Lunch:
Everyone is on their own for lunch, and the exact time will be determined later. Bring snacks if you need something to tide you over.
