Our May Speaker is Bob Chadwick and the topic will be "Travel Photography"!
Travel along with Bob as he shares his most favorite photos from his recent trips to the western U.S., Alaska, and Italy. Hear the stories of how he took the shots, and his tips of how you could take similar photos. He will share information on how he prepared for the trips, the equipment he used, his camera settings, and a few deep-dive examples of his post- processing approach and techniques.
Come and learn how Bob approaches photography in multiple genres and his techniques for creating award-winning photos.
About Bob Chadwick:
Bob is a long-time Peachtree Corners resident having moved to the area with his family in 1992. He became involved with the Peachtree Corners Photography Club almost from its inception in 2017. He is generous with his time and talents in giving back to the Club, whether it be providing tips on our Facebook page, or mentoring other aspiring photographers.
Bob is a very accomplished and skilled photographer, having started with film back in the 80’s and progressed through DSLR’s to mirrorless. He concentrated on sports photography in past years but is gradually moving
to wildlife and landscapes. He was a staff photographer for the Gwinnett Stripers and has shot sports for the local high schools and media outlets.
Bob retired last year from his “regular” job, and has since taken three extended trips to the western part of the United States, to Alaska, and most recently, to Italy. Throughout all of those trips, he took thousands of photos in a range of genres, from wildlife, to landscapes, and city scenes.
