Let's go see some Animals at Zoo Atlanta!
Come one, come all to Peachtree Corners Photography Club's second meetup for 2022. This meetup is open to Members and Non-Members of Peachtree Corners Photography Club. We will meet at 9am sharp at the Zoo Atlanta Entrance. If you have never been to Zoo Atlanta it is an amazing place to view animals from all over the world. You will see everything from Elephants, Tigers, Pandas and the 3 Lion brothers. We hope you will join us!

Time: 9 am - 12 pm
PLEASE NOTE: Admission ticket has to be bought PRIOR to the date of admission and you have to choose 9:00 am due to it being a timed admission. Cost is $28.20 per person. Seniors 65 or older can save $2.00. Purchase tickets here: https://zooatlanta.org/tickets/
Parking will be an additional $13.00 per car, which will will cover you for the entire day. If interested in carpooling, indicate so in your registration.
Additional Details:
Types of lens. Bring a zoom lens (the longer the better) along with a wide angle lens and a low light lens.
Wear comfortable shoes and bring water. All of the paths are paved. There are a couple of hills that you may encounter within the Zoo.

We will meet at the Zoo Atlanta Entrance. Atlanta Zoo is located at 800 Cherokee Ave SE, Atlanta, GA 30315. See Google Maps.
From Peachtree Corners:
Head South on Interstate 85 thru Downtown Atlanta (Go past Grady Hospital) Get off onto Interstate 20 East. Exit on Boulevard SE. Turn right (Go past the fire station on immediate right) Continue down Boulevard past Grant Park Parking Deck to Atlanta Ave. Turn right onto Atlanta Ave. Go to the Stoplight and turn right onto Cherokee Ave. You should see (if they are still there) a lot of cement barriers to keep you from parking on the street. Turn right into the parking lot of Zoo Atlanta. You have arrived.
