June 8, 2024: Fashion Photography Studio Workshop with Tytan Pictures | Workshop

Updated: May 21

Register for the Fashion Photography Studio Workshop on June 8th!

This is an event sponsored by the Peachtree Corners Photography Club, open to dues-paying members initially and then will open to non-members and general public.

This event will be limited to 24 attendees so everyone will have ample opportunity to take lots of photos at each station.  Paid members of the Club will be given an opportunity to sign up first, from now until May 19th.  The registration is now opened to those are on our mailing list but are not paid members.  If there are still seats available after May 26th, registration will be open to the general public.

This is going to be a fun afternoon at the brand new Studios of Aperturent, one of our Club’s sponsors!  We will have several stations with different backgrounds and lighting schemes, and beautiful, professional models with amazing wardrobes.  We will divide up into small groups and rotate through the stations, so you’ll be shooting most of the day.  This will be a great opportunity to add high quality fashion photographs to your portfolio.

Another wonderful benefit you will receive is the opportunity to rent any gear from Aperturent the day of the workshop at a 50% discount.  Have fun and try out a new lens or a camera body, or a new light!  You will be given the discount code and a link to their website in your registration confirmation email.

Registration is required. See the registration in the member portal or below. We hope you will join us!

About Jim and Roxy Stone, Tytan Pictures:

Jim Stone has been an award-winning designer for 33+ years and has a passion for photography and film production.  He and his wife, Roxy, have both won Emmy’s for cinematography and photography and along with their team have been honored with over 200 industry awards over the last 15 years including 78 Telly Awards, 3 National Addy Awards, and 11 Emmy Awards.

Roxy began shooting professionally in 1999 photographing Sailboat racing and Corporate Jets for their design firm. Roxy began shooting weddings in 2004 and became one of the top wedding and portrait photographers in the Southeast after spending a year training with such greats as Yervant, Bambi Cantrell and their friend Jerry Ghionis.  She also was the first woman to shoot the cover of the highly acclaimed South Magazine. That cover was voted one of the top 3 covers of the decade. She went on to other magazine covers for South, Southern Distinction and other publications with hundreds of featured spreads of fashion and food editorial.  Her food photography has literally been seen by millions of consumers.

Jim and Roxy co-founded Tytan in 2006 and what started as an advertising agency making TV commercials and print ads for local and regional firms quickly morphed into a content creation company writing, producing, and directing short films for national and global brands like Nike, Red Bull, Ansell, Hubbell, Altec, Colonial Oil, Notre Dame Football and Clemson Football.

In Eatonton, Georgia where they are now based they have developed a truly unique destination for filmmakers and photographers alike with an abandoned prison as a movie set and office, and farms, woods, abandoned warehouses and an entire city that looks like a Hollywood backlot all within a few miles.
