The monthly club meeting is a free event for anyone who shares a passion for photography, from the total beginner with your phone to a professional with multiple gear sets. Please join us in-person or online and invite anyone who may be interested in exploring and learning about photography!
We meet at Atlanta Tech Park at 107 Technology Parkway, Peachtree Corners, GA 30092. You are welcome to arrive at 6:15 pm for fellowship and social time to meet new and current members.

Our July Speakers are Bob Walker and Mark Sirull and the topic will be “Photography with Drones for the Professional and for Recreation”.
In this presentation, Mark and Bob will walk you through the two paths, professional and recreational opportunities. First they will provide a brief overview of how to start and stay legal. They will provide examples of photos and projects that include their drone photos.
Mark and Bob will compare drone options from entry-level to the high-end and highlight the features that can contribute to a positive drone experience. Let’s have some fun!
They will provide for hands-on demonstration for those interested:
Pre-flight check
Take-off and fly to 180’ elevation
Find Stone Mountain and take a picture.
Return home.

About Mark Sirull
Earning his private pilot’s license at age 27, Mark indulged in his aviation passion while working as a software developer. He also enjoyed documenting milestones and travels with photos and videos.
After retiring in 2017, Mark was able to merge all his interests as an FAA-certified drone pilot. Since 2018 Mark has completed more than 400 assignments that used drone videos and photos to help sell commercial and residential real estate by providing unique and breathtaking perspectives. He’s also used his drone photography skills to facilitate roofing and property inspections.
About Bob Walker
Bob is the Treasurer for Peachtree Corners Photography Club, Inc. Photography is a hobby
for Bob who has had a 44 year career in the payments industry.
He started at the Federal Reserve Bank at a time when electronic check truncation (now used for mobile deposits) was just an idea circulating in position papers. Bob moved to Georgia in 1994 to work for a technology start-up, which is now a wholly owned subsidiary of U.S. Bank where he still works today.
Bob is a United States Air Force veteran. He is married to his wife of 44 years, and together they have two children and five grandchildren.
As the Treasurer of Peachtree Corners Photography Club, he worked to have our club recognized as a corporation in the state of Georgia and recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501©(3) non-profit.
