We’re going to do something a little different for our January meeting to mix things up a bit.
Members will share their favorite image from 2022, describing how they made the image and explaining why it’s their favorite.
Everyone (members and non-members) will be encouraged to bring one of their favorite pieces of photography gear (besides camera bodies and lenses). Maybe it’s a piece of gear you find very effective but don’t see a lot of other photographers using. Maybe it’s a piece of gear you couldn’t live without – it’s a permanent piece of your gear bag. Maybe it’s even your gear bag itself! Tell us what it is, who makes it, how you use it, what makes it wonderful, how much it costs, and where we could buy it.
Everyone (members and non-members) will be encouraged to bring any photography-related gear or reference materials they don’t use anymore (and isn’t worth the trouble to try to sell), and put it on a free swap table for others who may have a use for it. No money will change hands – just good will! Bring one, Take one. Small camera accessories, filters, darkroom supplies, photo logowear, photo books & magazines – whatever is cluttering up your space that still has value. Bring it to share!
We will have a chance to see and hear about some great photography from our members in 2022, learn about photography gear others find very useful, and swap photo gear.
