Show us your pets!

Pet Photography

Our theme for July is “Pet Photography” and the pictures will be critiqued. Following on the adorable and incredible pet presentation from our June meeting with Tracey Luttgens, we hope you will take her tactics and tips to showcase your adorable furry friends. The photos will be shown at the July meeting.

Critique

This photo session this month will be a “critique” format. Learn what works, what could be improved in your photo. The photo can be from your archive, but you are encouraged to do some new photography! Be sure to bundle up, socially distance, and do it safely.

In the entry form there is a “Description” text section where you may share anything you wish the host to use when introducing your photo.

Submit your entry no later than July 3, 2021 for inclusion in the meeting theme and critique.

Monthly Theme – June 5, 2021

Share your Edit!

Our theme for June is a Post Processing Show and Tell! This is your opportunity to show off your creativity and skill. Express yourself and share your edit! We will review the photos submitted by members on the theme will be a “show and tell” format.

How to participate:

  1. Download the RAW file.
  2. Use any post processing techniques you wish to edit the supplied photo.
    Let your creativity fly or keep it simple; the choice is yours!
  3. Submit your photo!

All submissions will be shared at the June Meeting. Submission is due on June 5th!

Post Processing Show and Tell

We provide an image and you provide the creative edits. You download a RAW or JPG file and edit any way they like.

All submissions will be shared at the next Peachtree Corners Photography Club meeting, and a few selections might make it to a public post by the club. Please keep your edits appropriate as some will be displayed on the next meeting and club social media. We look forward to seeing all the different styles our club comes up with utilizing the same photo.

For the June 2021 Post Production Show and Tell, download the RAW Photo to edit. Then, submit your file on our website. In the submission entry form there is a “Description” text section where you may share anything you wish the host to use when introducing your photo.

Our theme for May 2021 is “Self-Portrait with Your Camera“.

Show and Tell

This month will be a “show and tell” format, and so the photos will not be critiqued. You will have about a minute to tell about your selfie and about yourself – anything you wish to share. The photo can be from your archive, but you are encouraged to do some new photography! 

Submit your entry no later than May 8, 2021 for inclusion in the meeting theme and show and tell session.

Aviation Photography

Our theme for March is “Aviation Photography”. Following on the captivating presentation from our February meeting with Jon Berry, we hope you will take his pointers and try to capture your own aircraft. The photos will be shown at the March meeting.

Winter Landscape Photography

Our theme for February is “Winter Landscape Photography”. Following on the wonderful presentation from our January meeting with Steve Layman, we hope you will take his pointers, bundle up, and show us your favorite winter wonderlands. The photos will be shown at the February meeting.
