at the Pinckneyville Community Center,
4650 Peachtree Industrial Boulevard, Berkeley Lake, GA
Images from Nature
This meeting will be devoted primarily to a presentation by
David Dunagan – Images from Nature in 3 Southeastern States
His emphasis is on bluebirds, woodpeckers, hummingbirds, white-tailed deer, and great blue herons, with some landscapes and plants as well.
David Dunagan, retired technical editor with an engineering firm, has used his first 4 retirement years to become an enthusiast (a maniac really) for capturing images of deer, woodpeckers, bluebirds, ducks, geese, hummingbirds, herons, squirrels, and other critters. This presentation includes both photos and video clips.
David says he hopes to see you there Tuesday. He says he’ll examine such weighty questions as “do deer ever try their hand (or hooves) at ballet? “what does the world’s most thoroughly drenched bluebird look like?” “who stands guard over the fog to make sure it stays foggy? “what does a 6-point buck look like when he’s staring down a photographer? And “which of these critters weighs about an ounce and is made of nothing but 50% pluck and 50% sass?”
Tips and Tricks
In addition, we’ll discuss exposure bracketing. What is it? Why do it? What’s the best way to use it?
