Monthly Club Meeting
The monthly meeting of the Peachtree Corners Photography Club will be on
Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at 7:00 pm
Pinckneyville Community Center,
4650 Peachtree Industrial Boulevard, Berkeley Lake, GA
“Why Do I Keep Reaching for My Camera?”
Think about your photography and come share your ideas. Here are some questions that are designed to provoke thought and reflection on our own behavior.
- “You’ve taken some wonderful images — why aren’t you satisfied with those?“
- “Who are you taking photos for?”
- “What do you hope that audience will experience?“
- “What’s in it for you?“
Come with a favorite photo of yours to share with the group. Bring a print – any size – or your laptop with the image, or a flash drive (to use a group member’s laptop). Note: There is no internet access at the center, so don’t plan on downloading at the meeting.
Plan to take two or three minute to present your thoughts.
After you discuss your reasons for continuing to reach for your camera, the group will parade slowly past your seat at the table and see your photo. The photo can be any size and any subject. Questions, ooh’s and aah’s, all sorts of things might come your way during the parade!
